Grizzco Charger The king of raw DPS. With the same as the unscoped E-liter. Almost anything the Grizzco charger aims at can be deleted in an instant, even high HP targets like Grillers and Gusher Goldies. Ironically, the weapon struggles with Smallfries due to having to waste one of its few precious shots.
Grizzco Slosher 10 6 5 7 High High
Grizzco Slosher The Grizzco Slosher is very slow moving shots per tank despite being ranked as the 2nd best SR weapon. These shots pierce through targets and have a wide AOE radius. Coupled with high DPS, the Grizzco Slosher has the ability to ignore enemy cycles and armor from Grillers, Steelheads, Eels, and Scrappers which makes it incredibly powerful. It can take out Stingers easily and it is undoubtedly the best weapon for utility.
Dapple Dualies 9 10 10 10 Low Low
Dapple Dualies The Dapples are undoubtedly the best weapon for sustained, high damage, bursts of continued offense. Paired with great speed, damage and ink efficiency, they’re usually desired by many players. Incredibly speedy dodge rolls mean access to its very high DPS almost instantly, the ability to move across grates quickly, and the benefit of getting out of tough situations easily. Range is the only weakness this weapon has.

Sploosh o Matic A shooter only by technicality, the Sploosh is amazing for close range DPS. Along with possessing high mobility and speed, this weapon only has one objective: get close to its target and delete it as fast as possible. Can have issues dealing with Steelheads or targets high up due to incredibly short range, but this is really its only drawback. A prime example of how range isn’t a strong factor in what makes an SR weapon good.
Ballpoint Splatling 10 9 7 9 High High
Ballpoint Splatling Extremely high DPS in shred mode, with a charge than can be recycled. The Ballpoint Splatling also has access to a long range mode for Steelheads, Drizzler torpedoes, and Stingers. Often the best weapon in the comp when it shows up, the Ballpoint Splatling can pretty much fill almost any role needed. Similar to the Nautilus 47, the Ballpoint Splatling’s only glaring weakness is needing to drop its charges to throw bombs.
Squiffer 10 6 6 8 Medium Medium
Classic Squiffer The most ink efficient charger with fast, reliable charges. The DPS of this weapon is actually somewhat lower when compared to the weapons around its ranking placement, but it more than makes up for it with its fast, high instant piercing damage.
L3 Nozzlenose 10 8 7 10 High Medium
L-3 Nozzlenose With unmatched Ink Efficiency, incredibly high DPS from continuous bursts, and great accuracy, the semi-automatic L-3 Nozzlenose rightfully takes its spot at a 7th place ranking. Being semi-automatic sacrifices a bit of speed and mobility as a shooter, but the positives more than make up for the negatives here.
Bloblobber 10 8 6 8 High High
Bloblobber Like all Sloshers, this one stands out as quite unique with its bubble shaped projectiles that can travel a surprisingly long range. With very high DPS per slosh, high HP single targets are taken care of quite well with it. Deals with stingers nicely from a distance, though aiming the bubbles effectively can be difficult at times.
96 Gal 10 9 8 8 Low Medium
.96 Gal A shooter with a slower strafe speed and fire rate, but powerful damage per shot and good range. Arguably the best user of falloff damage, thanks to its great range and damage as a shooter. Has the usual shooter strengths of good mobility between shots, and slots itself well into any weapon comp.
Bamboozler 10 7 6 8 High High
Bamboozler Has high Range and High DPS, a common trend among highly ranked weapons. Like all chargers, the bamboo has access to instant long range damage, except it lacks proper piercing (It only happens at point blank range). However, the speed of its charges more than make up for it. This weapon requires a lot of understanding of its nuances to be played effectively, when taking into account aim and proper use of partial charges.
Splat Brella 9 9 8 8 Medium Medium
Splat Brella The strongest and most reliable brella in the game, the Splat Brella has access to high damage shotgun bursts that take out high HP targets quite quickly. Individual low HP targets would normally be an issue due to the slight delay between each shot, but the weapon is equipped with a shield that comes out almost instantly to deal with them. Simply opening the shield takes out Chums and Smallfries with ease.
Splat Dualies 9 9 9 9 Medium Medium
Splat Dualies The most well rounded weapon in the Dualies class, this weapon’s very high DPS after a dodge roll makes it stand out. Even when not dodge rolling, the DPS of the Splat Dualies is quite reliable. Not needing to go into post-roll stance to contribute a lot is quite helpful, and having fast rolls to begin with helps it even more.
Luna Blaster 8 10 6 8 Low Low
Luna Blaster The king of AOE burst damage, with its massive blast damage radius, the Luna Blaster is the best weapon for taking out groups of clumped up lessers with ease. Its DPS is actually a little on the underwhelming side, but the weapon is so ridiculously good at its role without sacrificing too much in other areas that it doesn’t matter too much. It does struggle with endlag issues at times though slightly.
Nautilus 9 8 7 8 High High
Nautilus Unique in its ability to maintain a charge, fire that charge, and reset that charge whenever it wants without losing it, even after swimming. This versatility and flexibility in combination with its great reliable DPS, pushes the Nautilus to such a high ranking. It’s not restricted or shackled by the same drawbacks that most charging weapons are. I’d say this weapon’s only true drawbacks are slow strafe speed, and needing to drop its charge to throw bombs.

S Tier

Splattershot The most reliable shooter with good DPS that doesn’t suffer from any real drawbacks. Similar to the 52 Gal, best used with falloff damage when possible. Fitting as the most basic weapon conceptually in the game, the Splattershot is very simple but very effective.
Grizzco Blaster 7 10 7 7 Low Medium
Grizzco Blaster This blaster possesses AOE burst damage with such an extremely high rate of fire that effectively ends up functioning as a shooter that deals with groups of lessers well. Can fire off in any general direction and rack up nice chip damage on nearby targets, while having nice mobility and speed. One of the best weapons for filtering chums during Rush.
52 Gal 8 8 9 7 Low Low
.52 Gal The first of the truly powerful shooters, the 52 is fast and strong, and has reliable DPS. Like all accurate shooters, proper use of falloff damage, (Aiming slightly above your target to get more range) is the best way to maximize its potential. Has the annoying trait of requiring two shots to destroy a Stinger pot, however.
Flingza Roller 8 10 6 6 Medium High
Flingza Roller This weapon is basically the Splat Roller except with one major difference. It has an incredibly powerful vertical flick to deal heavy damage to single high HP targets when necessary. This, along with all the benefits of the Splat Roller make it quite useful. However, this also means that its horizontal flick inherits all the drawbacks the Splat Roller has as well. Knowing how to use this weapon effectively requires mastery of swapping between the horizontal and vertical flicks when the situation calls for either.
Dualie Squelchers 6 7 10 7 Medium Medium
Dualie Squelchers The DPS of this weapon is a bit on the underwhelming side, though good range, decent Ink efficiency, and great utility in its smooth dodge rolls that effectively let it slide around the map forever all make up for it. Best used to soften up targets from a range for its teammates to manage. Deals with torpedoes well.
Hydra Splatling 10 6 2 8 High High
Hydra Splatling An odd weapon with an absurdly long charge time, but access to ridiculously high DPS when fully charged. Second only to the Grizzco Charger in terms of pure damage per second. However, accessing that high DPS is difficult for the weapon to achieve consistently, due to being so vulnerable for so long. Like the Eliter, the Hydra splatling is an example of a weapon taking its role to such an extreme degree that it works to its detriment.
Mini Splatling 8 8 7 7 Low Medium
Mini Splatling High DPS with a short charge time, the Mini secures its slot as a good weapon with these traits alone. Struggles to throw bombs however due to its charges using up a lot of its Ink tank. Decent for painting, and has a fast strafe speed.

A Tier

Octobrush Functionally similar to the Splat roller in that it deals with lessers well within its fan shaped range. However, this is with access to quicker, and more reliable higher DPS. Can travel across grates and enemy ink quite quickly thanks to its fast rolling ability too. The one truly negative trait of this weapon is its lower range.
Dynamo Roller 7 10 3 6 High High
Dynamo Roller Possesses the very useful ability to effectively instantly destroy any Cohocks, Eels, vulnerable Scrappers, and Goldies in its path. When used properly, this weapon is quite powerful. However, the Dynamo roller is locked hard into this role, and can’t do much else. Underwhelming ink efficiency, and struggles with individual low HP targets that enter its range before it can start rolling.
Heavy Splatling 8 7 6 6 Medium Medium
Heavy Splatling Good DPS, though the weapon has to charge to access it, which takes time and leaves it vulnerable. It can fire a high number of shots, allowing it to deal with multiple smaller, weaker targets at a range quite well. Best used as a backline role at a range for DPS sponges like Cohocks and Grillers.
Splat Charger 8 6 7 6 Medium Low
Splat Charger Gets access to high, instantaneous piercing damage quite quickly at a long range. This useful advantage alone is enough to elevate it to being a decent weapon, and it plays its role quite well without having to worry too much. Amazing at hitting Drizzler torpedoes. The amount of times the weapon can fire before having to reload leaves a little to be desired, however.
Splatterscope 8 6 7 6 Medium Low
Splatterscope Gets access to high, instantaneous piercing damage quite quickly at a long range. This useful advantage alone is enough to elevate it to being a decent weapon, and it plays its role quite well without having to worry too much. Amazing at hitting Drizzler torpedoes. Splattershot Jr 6 7 9 9 Low Low
Splattershot Jr Very high ink efficiency, this weapon has the ability to throw bombs quite often without worrying too much. Its range is quite short and the weapon is wildly inaccurate however like the Aerospray, so it has to get quite close to do any reliable damage usually. Though this typically isn’t a problem since it can shoot for so long.
Splash o' matic 6 7 8 7 Low Low
Splash o' matic This weapon is actually just the NZAP with slightly less range, higher Ink efficiency, and perfect accuracy. They’re functionally the same and serve the exact same purpose as a result.
N-zap 6 7 8 6 Low Low
N-zap Probably the most average weapon in Salmon Run, the NZAP is a fast shooter without any particularly stand out strengths or weaknesses. Slots itself well into pretty much every comp there is without any conflicting issues.
Aerospray MG 5 7 8 6 Low Low
Aerospray The first of the 4 generic, average shooters. The DPS of this weapon is actually on the high side, but to access it the Aerospray effectively has to be at point blank range, which isn’t a likely scenario. Has great mobility and speed, but is wildly inaccurate and struggles with Steelhead one-cycles.
Tri-Slosher 7 7 7 6 Low Low
Tri-Slosher Very ink efficient with reliable, fast damage in a confined fan shape in front of it. Its biggest weakness is its lack of range. Nice for smallfries and chums, and all low HP targets.
Glooga Dualies 8 6 7 6 Medium High
Glooga Dualies Underwhelming DPS when unrolled, but decent DPS post roll. When sustained fire is used with post roll with good positioning, all targets within this weapons range can go down quite quickly. Unfortunately, needing to take the risk of rolling to access this DPS is a detriment, especially with a lengthy roll distance.
Tenta Brella 6 9 5 6 High High
Tenta Brella Unique in its ability to launch a nearly indestructible shield (Provided it doesn’t touch Eels, Scrappers, or Grillers) that clears lessers ahead of its path very easily. The damage from its shots are also nice. Aside from that however, it suffers from endlag issues and the Swim speed decrease due to being a heavyweight weapon.
Rapid Blaster 5 7 6 5 Medium Medium
Rapid Blaster A very average weapon, possesses the usual Blaster benefits of dealing with lessers decently, though at a range. This lets it soften them up nicely for other shorter ranged teammates to finish them off quickly. Quite useful against Drizzler torpedoes thanks to its range and Blast radius.
E-liter 4K 9 5 6 5 High Medium
E-liter 4K Possesses the longest range in the game when using its scoped variant. Deals a massive amount of instant damage with a full charge, which is quite useful when taking its range into account. The Eliter however, takes its role to such an extreme degree that it works against it. Having to wait 1.53 seconds each time for that large amount of damage, and only being able to use weak tapshots (Though these are effective for fending off chums) otherwise is unfortunately a big drawback. Blaster Being the most well rounded Blaster, its quite effective at handling groups of lessers and Drizzler torpedoes. Best used against lesser clumps, otherwise it may struggle to contribute much. Suffers from slight endlag issues at times.
Carbon Roller 4 7 7 6 Low Medium
Carbon Roller Like most rollers, handles lessers in front of its fan shapes range decently and is very effective during Rush. Aside from that, not much else can really be said about it. Its single target DPS is acceptable.

B Tier

Splattershot Pro Decent DPS, but poor ink efficiency. Struggles to maintain its footing and contribute greatly in rough situations. Range is decent. A prime example of how Ink efficiency is important as well as damage.
Explosher 7 4 4 5 High Medium
Explosher Has the very unique ability to destroy Flyfish launchers in a single shot, without requiring bombs. Also handles Stingers quite nicely thanks to its great range and blast radius, along with painting walls exceptionally well. Deals with torpedoes nicely like most longer ranged weapons. Unfortunately, the positives end there. Painfully low DPS, and doesn’t deal with lessers well despite having a blast radius. Also suffers from a 10% swim speed decrease due to being a heavy weapon. A master of utility, but fails where it really counts.
Splat Roller 5 8 5 6 Medium Low
Splat Roller Decent for killing groups of lesser in a fan shape in front of it, and rolling over Chums and Smallfries, but not much else. Like all rollers though, during Rush the weapon is incredibly powerful, since it can kill every single incoming enraged Chum with ease, and slow down Goldies. Aside from this though, the weapon has annoying endlag on every swing, can bounce off of grounded Drizzlers which pushes the user, and underwhelming ink efficiency.
Tetra Dualies 5 6 8 5 Medium Medium
Tetra Dualies The weakest of the Dualies thanks to low DPS, but very unique in the fact that it can roll 4 times, allowing it to escape rough situations very easily. Unfortunately, this is the only real advantage it has. Like all dualies, requires dodge rolls to access its full DPS. However, having to take a risk to access underwhelming damage is a big strike against it.
Undercover Brella 5 7 6 6 Medium Low
Undercover Brella Middling DPS, that requires its shield to be held open to utilize properly. To make matters worse, when touching lessers with the shield open, the user receives a ton of knockback, making it very easy to fall into the water. Very good at killing Smallfries, and can occasionally block attack swings from lessers along with Steelhead bombs like all Brellas. Unfortunately, these are its only true strengths.
H3 Nozzlenose 5 5 4 7 Medium Medium
H-3 Nozzlenose The definition of an underwhelming weapon. Its biggest crime is having a ton of endlag after every action without any real trade-off benefit in return. Has the usual benefit of handling Drizzler torpedoes well like most longer ranged weapons, but not much else. Aside from everything mentioned here there’s nothing offensively bad about it, but nothing really good either.
Rapid Blaster Pro 5 6 6 5 Medium Low
Rapid Blaster Pro A blaster that sacrifices too much AOE burst damage for the benefit of having a lot of range. Has the smallest blast radius of any blaster, making the usual advantage of handling lessers well much weaker than it would be otherwise. It is however, the best weapon in the game for taking out Stingers. Also effective for Drizzler torpedoes. Can one-cycle Steelheads with very strict timing on an early first shot.
Clash Blaster 4 6 6 5 Low Low
Clash Blaster Very underwhelming DPS, Ink efficiency, and Range across the board. Has the very annoying weakness of requiring 2 shots to kill a single chum. Rapid fire AOE burst damage though, however weak, is still quite useful. Actually decent for handling clumps of lessers, especially during rush. However, it’s not useful for much else.

C Tier

Slosher 3 7 6 6 Medium Medium
Slosher Extremely low single target DPS, causing it to be a liability during Mothership, Goldie Seeking, and Grillers. In terms of utility however, the Slosher is great. By Sloshing over lessers, the Slosher has the ability to clear lines of them with ease in a similar manner to a charger, while staying quite ink efficient. It’s truly unique in the sense that it’s the only weapon that can do this. Also very effective against Drizzler torpedoes.
Squeezer 5 4 6 5 Medium Medium
Squeezer Very similar to the Jet Squelcher in function, strengths, and weaknesses, though with less range and an auto fire mode for more ink efficient damage against closer targets. When tap firing, consistency is more important for button mashing rather than speed.
Grizzco Brella 2 5 5 4 Medium Low
Grizzco Brella Despite first glances, the DPS of this weapon is deceptively higher than what it might look like. Its Ink Efficiency is so atrociously poor however, (A common trait among Grizzco weapons) that it compounds into a weapon that has its only real strength be painting, as a utility role. Best used against groups of lessers when dealing damage.
Jet Squelcher 4 4 6 4 Medium Low
Jet Squelcher Possesses a large amount of range, though range alone isn’t a strong enough factor to elevate a weapon to a high ranking, especially with low ink efficiency. It does however, give it decent utility in softening individual targets from a distance for higher damage dealing teammates to finish off. Also good for dispatching Drizzler torpedoes and Stingers.
Sloshing Machine 4 2 5 4 High High
Sloshing Machine A common trait with lower ranked weapons, the Sloshing Machine is possibly the worst offender of a weapon with slow, single target DPS. It struggles to clear large groups of Chums, which is a massive detriment to it. The indirect damage radius, when used in tandem with direct hits can clear clumps of lesser to a passable degree, but this is really its only strength.
Gootuber 4 3 7 5 Medium Medium
Gootuber Possesses extremely low DPS. The simple nature of it being a charger (pierce damage and access to instantaneous high damage at a range) saves it from being ranked even lower than it already is.
Range Blaster 4 4 4 4 Medium Medium
Range Blaster Has the lowest DPS of any main weapon in the game. Similar to the Goo Tuber, this weapon’s strength as a blaster (Burst AOE damage) saves it from being ranked lower. Passable at clearing groups of lessers from a distance, and useful for dispatching Drizzler torpedoes, as well as Stingers.

D Tier

Inkbrush Considered to be the worst weapon in the game by many players, the Inkbrush gets a failing grade in every category except for utility. It has the ability to move across grates and collect eggs quickly, though several other much more capable weapons can already do this.
